We have, improved the strength by making it in 2 pieces insteed of 3. Then found the fit was diabolical. So the bonnet was re-shaped & a new mould made, which then had size problems, so we filled by hand. Another mould made and the result was a perfect fitting bonnet. All the fixings are stainless steel and the tunnel is left uncut, allowing you to drill underneath to vent the fresh air where you want it in the engine bay, in Fbre Glass.

We have listen to a customers ingenious idea of using the tunnel of his GT bonnet where he has housed his air filter for maximum fresh cool air, then added an extra vent to get cooling to the rear rotor, usually the first to blow, and generally because of the extra trapped heat at the rear of the engine bay. All the fixings are stainless steel and the tunnel is left uncut, allowing you to drill underneath to vent the fresh air where you want it in the engine bay or as one customer has built his air filter in to the tunnel for max cool fresh air.
