This RX-7 was imported by ‘Jimmy’s Mazda RX-7 Specialist’ in July 2006. The engine has been rebuilt by Jimmy’s in August 2006, so I will be selling with some warranty remaining from Jimmy’s.

At this time Jimmy’s also completed the following work: fitted a new clutch, overhauled the cooling system with a new water pump, water hoses and thermostat, radiator is checked and recored if necessary. Fitted new spark plugs, drive belts, and battery, the speedometer was converted to read in MPH and the car speed delimited.

The car has covered approximately 59,000 miles since it was first registered new in Japan in August of 1995. 7,000 miles of which have been done since the engine was rebuilt by Jimmy’s.
I am the second UK registered owner of the car, Andrew at Jimmy’s being the first. It is always kept in the garage and was run-in according to Jimmy’s criteria. The car is taxed until December 2007 and MOT’d until July 2007.

Since owning the car I have changed the oil and oil filter after the first 500 miles of the engine rebuild and then every 3,000 miles since. Servicing has been performed by Jimmy’s at 6,000 miles since the engine rebuild. I have also replaced the ‘rats nest’ vacuum hoses with blue Samco Silicone hoses and had the car 4-wheel laser aligned.

Bad points:
The car is not in ‘show-room’ condition but is in exceptional condition for a 12-year-old car.
Wing mirrors require re-spraying.
Small area of damage on gear-shift centre console.
