Although this does not sound astonishing at a first glance it is rotating inertia (mass) we are saving and should provide a noticeable benefit to the driver. This will help during hard acceleration and pickup, it may also have a positive effect during heavy braking scenarios due to the reduced rotating mass to slow down. -The composite prop will also add to the dampening of the driveline.
